Does the library accept book donations?
I have many fiction books that need a new home.

Hello,
Thank you for your support! We're happy to again accept donations of books, DVD's, music CD's and audiobooks at all three library locations. Due to the generosity of our community and the backlog following COVID closures, we're requesting that patrons only donate materials which are current and in good quality at this time.
The library is unable to accept:
- Books that are dirty or damaged
- Textbooks
- Encyclopedias more than 5 years old
- News magazines older than one month
- General magazines older than one year
- Computer and travel books older than 5 years
- Reader’s Digest books
- Computers, typewriters or other used office equipment
- Any other household items
There is a donations bookdrop near the library materials bookdrop at Cole. At Dove, there is a cart on the south loading dock area and a donations bookdrop just to the left of the main entrance. If you have further questions, please call us at 442-339-2096.
