I tried to place a book on hold and the notation "Privilege Expired" popped up. Why?

Hello,
Every patron's library card is activated for a three year period. At the end of this time the account is marked with a "privilege has expired" note. We just need to verify your information and make sure the library has your most current address, phone number, and email address.
Please visit one of our library locations to renew your privilege. If you need a temporary privilege extension, please call 442-339-2095.
