As a resident of Oceanside can I obtain a Carlsbad library card?

Yes, you may! You may obtain a library account with the Carlsbad City Library by filling out a library card application. You don't have to be a resident of Carlsbad. We have an online application at https://cbcl.sdp.sirsi.net/client/en_US/home/search/registration/$N/SYMWS/true?
After completing the online application, you'll receive a short card number which will give you access to our eResources. You have two weeks to come in and get a permanent card, you will need to bring a government-issued photo ID and proof of your current address.
