I have a library card, want to register for online services like book holds.

Great! If you have a library card, you already have an account.
You can search our catalog at www.carlsbadlibrary.org, and when you see an item you want to place on hold, just click "place hold."
You will be prompted to enter your library card number (the number on the back of your library card, all 14 digits, no spaces), and your PIN.
To renew books or see what you have checked out, you can click on "My Account" from the library's home page.
