The library website indicates that my account is delinquent. What does that mean?

Hello,
When your library account has a balance due, even $0.01, it will say "account delinquent" when you check online or at the express checkout machines in the libraries.
You can owe up to $25.00 and still use your account. The express checkout machines accept credit cards, debit cards and cash to pay for fines and fees.
