If all the copies of the item are checked out you may be #1 in the Holds list, but the item isn't available yet.
Alternately, if you place an item on hold using the online catalog and that item is on the shelf in the library, you may be #1 on the holds list. We will pull the item from the shelf and make the hold available for you. We will contact you by email or text message to notify you that the item is ready to be checked out.
