Yes, the Carlsbad Library offers free, full color, interactive digital magazines through Flipster and eMagazines in OverDrive. Both are available on the eResources page under Magazines & News, and you'll need your library card to log in.
Flipster provides over 50 popular magazines with no holds, checkout periods, or limits on the number of issues you can download. Flipster is also available as an app in the iTunes or Android store. Most titles are in English, with several of the most popular available in Spanish.
eMagazines in OverDrive offers hundreds of popular magazines available through Overdrive with apps for iOS/Android. Most titles are in English, with some magazines available in Spanish, French, Chinese, German and more.
